Note: When entering numeric values, the system operates in "immediate mode." This means you can type a number and then a command key, without needing to press Enter first.

Jogbox Command Buttons

MEMO KEY Set Keyframe Create keyframe at current frame for axes in REC mode
RUN Run Forward Play move forward from current frame
RUN REV Run Reverse Play move backward from current frame
INCR FRAME Increment Frame Move to next frame based on increment setting
GOTO FR0 Goto Frame 0 Move to beginning of timeline (Frame 0)
AXIS ON Toggle Axis Mode When pressed with axis number, cycles mode
JOYST AX Assign Joystick When pressed with axis number, assigns jogbox knob
POSN/VELO Toggle Control Mode Switch joystick between position and velocity control
SET HOME Set Home Position When pressed with axis number, sets current position as zero
STOP/CANCEL Emergency Stop Immediately halt all motor movement
LIST KEYS List Keyframes Display list of keyframes in current move
JOG32 Extended Functions Used in combination with other buttons for advanced functions
WIND CAM Camera Control Trigger camera functions in stop motion mode

Jogbox LCD Display: The LCD display on the jogbox shows current axis selection, position, and status information. In certain modes, it also provides prompts for additional input.

Two-Letter Commands Reference

The RTMC130 system features powerful two-letter commands that can be typed at the main Control Panel prompt. These commands provide access to specialized functions and automation capabilities.

Move Creation & Editing Commands

ml Move Length Set the total length of the current move in frames
Example: ml 240 (sets move to 240 frames)
rm Record Move Start real-time recording using joystick or encoders
Press RUN to begin recording after this command
ed Editor Open the Graph Editor for visual editing of movement curves
kf Keyframe Create keyframe at current frame for all REC axes
Same as MEMO KEY on jogbox
sm Smooth Move Apply smoothing algorithm to recorded movements
Parameters: smoothing factor, frame range
ps Pull Set Convert continuous move to keyframes at specified intervals
Example: ps 10 (keyframe every 10 frames)
cc Create Circle Generate a perfect circular move
Parameters: radius, frames, X-axis, Y-axis, Pan-axis
em Exponent Move Create exponential acceleration curve
Parameters: axis, start, end, exponent value
ie Impose Eases Add ease-in/out to existing movement
Parameters: percentage ease-in, percentage ease-out
vz Vertigo Zoom Create mathematically precise dolly-zoom/vertigo effect
Parameters: track axis, zoom axis, subject distance, focal length

st Save Temp Save current move as temporary file

lt Load Temp Load most recent temporary file
rq Reload Quit Attempt to recover data after crash/unexpected exit
ss Set System Configure system hardware parameters
at Axis Type Set axis type (rotary, linear, etc.)
Parameters: axis number, type code
cp Copy Path Copy movement path from one axis to another
Parameters: source axis, destination axis, scaling factor
